Early '50s Andy Warhol sketches (1952-54) clearly way before the Factory days. Although simple, these works reflect Warhol's innate surveillance of reality, his fascination on the basic yet minute details of people and their lifestyles. The sparse details seem like incomplete recollections, lucid dreams, or ideas you take away at seconds glance.
Photos taken from the recently published 'Andy Warhol Drawings' book, released in early 2013 in conjunction to a Warhol exhibit at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark. The exhibit displayed 300 drawings from the '50s-early '60s.
